My interest in massage work began during my childhood as I watched my mother manage chronic back pain, and saw that regular bodywork helped her more than anything else. After graduating from college with a Bachelors of Science in Health Science, I realized that the hands-on approach offered by massage therapy was the perfect way for me to help others live more fulfilling lives while still satisfying my thirst for knowledge about kinesiology, physiology, and anatomy.
I have intensive training in many modalities of massage work, from both western and eastern schools of thought, along with a strong framework of technical knowledge in anatomy, kinesiology, and pathologies which bring precision and acuracy to my work. I received training from a 900 hour program at the National Holistic Instutute, a college for massage therapy, from which I graduated in May 2015. In the western segment I received a Letter of Excellence for outstanding professionalism in the field of massage therapy, a standard which I intend to uphold throughout my career.
I acknowledge that it takes a great deal of trust to put oneself in another's hands, and I am honored by the trust shown by every client who chooses me as their therapist. Each person has different requirements to feel safe and secure while receiving massage work, and I focus on my client's peace of mind and comfort before all else.
